Hearing at the Berlin House of Representatives

On June 2nd 2022 Attorney at Law (Germany) Magdalena Bernhardt spoke as an expert for labor and educational migration before the Committee for Integration, Labor and Social Affairs of the Berlin House of Representatives on the topic of obstacles in the issuance of employment permits for foreign professionals. During her hearing, Magdalena Bernhardt informed the participating members of parliament and responsible persons from politics and administration about the considerable legal and actual difficulties that employers and foreign professionals still face when seeking employment in Germany, despite the supposed facilitations regulated in the Skilled Workers Immigration Act.
